What’s it about?

Super Cello! is a day in the life of a special musician: Cellist by day, Super Hero by night!

Everything goes as normal —from getting up in the morning, to traveling to music rehearsal, to getting ready for a concert…but things take a turn when robots and aliens try to take over the music hall. It’s up to Super Cello to use the soothing power of music to save the day!

Originally a co-production with the National Symphony Orchestra and Teller Productions, Puppetry Artist SCOTTIE ROWELL and National Symphony Orchestra cellist DAVID TEIE unite to tell a fantastic story using puppets, props, and plenty of music.

The world premiere production took place at the Kennedy Center for Performing Arts (Washington, DC) in April 2022.
